  • Khoo Kongsi, TimothyTye wrote 18 years ago:
The Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi of Penang - often known simply as Khoo Kongsi - is the finest Chinese clan house in Malaysia, or for that matter, anywhere outside of China. The exquisite façade of this famous clan temple offers a glimpse at one of the oldest clan associations in Penang. • Pantai Pasir Panjang Beach, TimothyTye wrote 18 years ago:
Pasir Panjang is a lovely stretch of sandy beach on the southwestern coast of Penang island. Formerly, the only way to reach Pasir Panjang was through a dirt track which can be entered using a motorbike or bicycle. Since then, the track has been widened and tarred so that cars and vans can enter as well. Pasir Panjang has since become a popular picnic spot among the locals. Unfortunately, it was also one of the places where some lives were lost when the tsunami of 2004 hit the area. • Muka Head Light House, TimothyTye wrote 18 years ago:
Muka Head is very much Land's End for Penang folks. At the tip of this promontory is a lighthouse that is still functional today. Nature enthusiasts hike up to the lighthouse from where one can get splendid views of the sea. For photos and more details, go to: http://www.asiaexplorers.com/malaysia/mukahead.htm

Medium Low cost apartments from RM70,000. Car Park is RM10,000 and renovation for the unit is RM9,900. Should have a connecting road to Bukit Jambul. Too much traffic is clogging up the Relau-Jalan Paya Terubong T-Junction Traffic lights.

IC Design, Board Design, Silicon Validation, Testing, Marketing, Software, Finance, IT. It's all here! Core 2 Duo wasn't designed here. The Israelis gets the credit for that one.
  • KFC Restaurant, AhKit (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Parking here is RM0.60/hour. Place is clean. Food is good. Two floors. Quiet as well as there are no children playground.
  • N-Park, AhKit (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
700sqft, 8units/floor. 3 lifts. Moderately crowded. The security is fairly well managed. Overall the place is well kept. The gym is run down. The pool is ok. Due to the architecture, it's always windy. Lack of parking. Rental is around RM600 for an unfurnished unit. There's a hawker center outside. Food is average. Sometimes noisy during football season and ghost festival.
  • New Lane Hawker's Center 中路纽冷美食街, AhKit (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Ate there on a Sunday 11PM. People soliciting money for "taking care" of your car. The fried oyster wasn't good. The cendol wasn't good either and it was RM1.70 for a small bowl. It is nicer over at Swatow Lane. The place was dirty, ground is littered with junk. Didn't try their trademark Char Kuey Teow though.

  • Land Reclamation, KC (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
If it is legal, why isn't the site showing the signboard required by law stating what project this is? This is a land leased from the state for a supposed marina, but running foul of all its stipulated conditions. But perhaps it will be turned into a super condo development now?
