It is the parking dummy. This place is nothing special but parking is a hassle and expensive - the parking guys are like gangsters. And never park out in front in a free space - the parking gangsters call the cops and you get a ticket before you know it! Even Gurney's parking is cheaper. They could surely increase business at least by 15% if they offered one hour free parking.

This place looks nice on paper but the developer has a long history of failure to execute properly. But if they do execute well this place will be great - and a real bargain at a million ringget (the pre-launch price).

I have eaten here several times - and the food quality varied widely. The lunches we had there were great - but one time I took some friends out to dinner the food was barely edible. I stopped going as I had too many bad dinners.

This is a very "bumi" place. In fact, we have nicknamed it the Bumi Cafe. Good seafood right on the beach - and cheap. You can pick from fresh fish on ice or just order off the menu.
Most of the Malays working here do not speak English - but there are occasionally a few that speak very well and are highly educated. Highly recommended.
No alcohol - but they serve great fresh fruit drinks.

Twelve years ago I had the pleasure of stumbling into the Tanjong Country Club when my wife was looking for a horse to ride. The people at the club welcomed us and our two year old son with true MALAYSIAN HOSPITALITY. Chef Mr. Fu made the best fish curry I have eaten to date. Riding Master Iqbal was delighted to have an accomplished English riding teacher (my wife) helping out with his horses and pupils. As for those rocks, the sea life welcome the new habitat. Honestly who would want to swim in the waters there with the strong current and sea snakes anyway. The beaches at Batu Ferringhi are better suited for that.
