I studied at Hutchings 1972-1977, sports house Mortimor. I wonder they're still using these names for the sports house, Howitt, Arnold and I can't remember the name of the yellow house. To the Concerned Student, teachers will be teachers. If what you claim is serious, the proper authority should look into this claim. We've seen worse during our years, I don't think there is public caning nowadays. You'll learn to respect teachers sooner or later. To my friends whom remembers this name. There's a English teacher currently teaching there. I seriously think she's mental....... She gives people options which is beyond logic and blackmails people emotionally. No offense but the school should do something about the teacher before the students suffer in their later years

hi i was a student of hutchings from i guess 1963 to 1969 i completed my 6th standard there, and due to the riots of 69 we left for india, and i had a chance to visit penang again in 1998, and imagine to my surprise my friends at trengannu road flats recognised me and i also visited the school it had not changed much except that there was a new building built tsimiliar to the older one and te sport feild was shoten a bit to accomodate it, and i fondly remembered my class teacher the handsome mr chan teik huat of 6 yellow, and the british music teacher was mrs white, she was very good at the piano, i also visited the old classroom on the 3rd floor rt upsatirs the headmasters office and where the library used to be and was sad that it was vacation time and the school was closed so was the tuck shop where i use to eat plenty of siamese mee from a lady quitwe old then was a siames i guess she used to sell the best prawn flavored mee, and yes i was from arnold house and i remember dorairaja who was a good and famous athelete at that time, i could go on and on its very emotional for me,will someone from my class or who remembers me get back to me somehow since its not allowed to put up email ids i dont know how to be in touch with personsor ex pupils of this school of mine
